Food I got the chance to have lunch at Misi on my most recent trip to NYC. The reservations get booked pretty quickly but I put myself on the Resy waitlist and spots opened up fairly frequently (especially for lunch).
We started with the whipped ricotta crostini and the grilled broccoli. I absolutely loved the crostini. Nice crispy bread, soft, airy ricotta, a nice umami contrast from the mushrooms and a little extra richness from the olive oil.
Tucked away right next to its Michelin-starred counterpart l’Abeille, l’Abeille à Côté promises a more approachable yet equally stellar experience. I celebrated Valentine’s Day with my girlfriend there on my most recent visit to NYC.
From the moment you step through its doors, it exudes warmth and sophistication. Entering through the small vestibule, the host greets you and takes your coat, allowing you to briefly spot the sign boasting of its sibling restaurant’s Michelin star on the wall.
